Welcome to today’s Show and Tell! There is ton’s to look forward to today! Not only will you be entertained by talented readers with tons to show off but I’m excited to introduce you all to an amazing new Company and Product line!
When I first heard of Karen Kimmel and her work I knew I wanted to learn more. I was impressed right away with her track record of sharing her talent and teaching others the art of self expression and creativity.
After years of sharing her knowledge in countless workshops with Adults with developmental disabilities, Karen developed Stencils that helped encourage the creative process. They were the perfect tool to introduce to these budding artist and with the use of Karen’s Stencils self expression, color and art work came to life.
Imagine the feeling of accomplishment when these creative minds saw finished results that were worthy to hang on the finest Gallery Walls! In fact many of them did hang on the walls of Gallery’s or ultimately became used in textile projects for some major well known company’s.
Kimmels Kids Exchange Collection is Karen’s newest line. Inspired by the participants of her workshops she has created a collection of creative tools that are meant to be explored and integrated together to create one of a kind works of art time and time again!
My girls and I have been having too much fun exploring our new Kimmel Kids Exchange Collection. I know it says kids right there in the name but I could not resist and I had to get in on the action. So while I painted this…
My girls created there first drafts on paper!
I still want them to experiment and have fun before I pass them their Canvas but my idea is to get the entire family in on the fun and make our very own Kimmel Kids Gallery wall!
Even mine is elementary! I was so drawn to this stencils shape! I loved it all on its own but already can’t wait to dive into another project where I layer and incorporate even more!
So here’s where you come in! Our wonderful friends over at Kimmel Kids want to get the word out about their new line! This is an exciting time for them and with a concept that is so incredible close to my own heart that promotes creativity and self expression I knew I wanted to help get the word out myself!
